1. What are cookies and local storage?

Cookies and local storage are small pieces of data your browser stores on your device. MirrorQuant relies primarily on browser localStorage to keep your session, preferences and personal watchlists on your machine — most features do not require server-side cookies.

2. Categories we use

  • Strictly necessary — theme (mq_theme), language (mq_lang), cookie-consent state (mq_cookie_consent), and — after sign-in — a session token. These are required for the site to function and cannot be disabled.
  • Functional — your MyRadar watchlist (mq_watchlist), alerts (mq_alerts) and blog drafts (mq_blog_posts_v1). Stored locally on your device only.
  • Analytics — we may load privacy-friendly aggregate analytics (no cross-site tracking) only after you accept in the cookie banner.
  • Marketing / third-party — MirrorQuant does not use third-party advertising cookies.

3. Your choices (EU / UK / global)

When you first visit MirrorQuant from the EU or UK, a consent banner appears. You can accept, reject non-essential cookies, or change your choice at any time by clearing mq_cookie_consent from your browser storage. Rejecting analytics does not affect any product feature.

4. Third parties

Signed-in users may exchange authentication cookies with our identity provider. Prediction-market data, market prices and blog imports may load resources from third-party APIs; those requests are governed by their own privacy and cookie policies.
