1. Who we are

MirrorQuant is a research and analytics platform for prediction markets and equity intelligence. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and your rights under GDPR, UK GDPR and CCPA.

2. Data we collect

• Account data — email address, hashed password or OAuth identity, display name.
• Product data — your watchlist, alerts, blog drafts and preferences. Stored locally in your browser first; only synced to our servers if you explicitly opt into cloud sync.
• Technical data — IP address, user agent, coarse geolocation, and request timing for security and abuse prevention.
• We do not collect — brokerage credentials, trading orders, or wallet private keys. MirrorQuant is research-only.

3. Legal basis (GDPR / UK GDPR)

We process personal data on the basis of (a) contract — to provide the service you sign up for; (b) legitimate interests — to keep the platform secure and improve it; and (c) consent — for optional analytics and marketing communications.

4. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, port, restrict processing of, and delete your personal data. EU/UK users may lodge a complaint with their national supervisory authority. California residents may exercise CCPA rights, including opting out of any "sale" or "share" of personal information — MirrorQuant does not sell personal data.

5. Data retention

Account data is retained while your account is active and for up to 30 days after deletion. Local browser data is retained until you clear it.

6. International transfers

Our infrastructure runs on global edge providers. For transfers outside the EEA / UK we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses.
